<p><font face="Arial" size="3"><b><u><font color="#FF0000">CONTROLLER FUNCTIONS<br>
</font></u>Controller Pad: Moves Bonk up, down, left and right. <br>
Up lets Bonk enter the Boss Stage elevator. <br>
A Button: Makes Bonk Jump. Bite walls for vertical climb. <br>
B Button: "Bonk" with head (attack). Do a midair spin. <br>
Start Button: Pauses the game. Start "new" Bonk life. </b></font></p>
<p><font face="Arial" size="3"><b><u><font color="#FF0000">TECHNIQUES <br>
</font>Midair Spin</u> - Jump and rapidly press the B Button. This slows Bonk's
rate of descent and increases his jumping distance. This also makes the power of
your "Bonk" (headbutt) twice as strong. <br>
<u>Wall Bite</u> - This is to scale walls that are too high to jump. Jump
against the surface and Bonk automatically bites the wall. Press the A Button to
begin climbing. Waterfalls and Tree Climbing: Use the wall climbing technique to
swim up waterfalls and scale trees. <br>
<u>The Grand Bonk</u> - When Bonk eats a hunk of meat he is temporarily super
charged. By doing a mid air spin and landing on his head he sends a pile-driver
shock wave across the screen to damage all enemies. </b></font></p>
<p><font face="Arial" size="3"><b><font color="#FF0000"><u>POWER-UP ITEMS <br>
</u></font><u>Hearts</u> - The life gauge increases by one heart. <br>
<u>Smiling Faces</u> - Collect these to increase heart points at the end of each
level. <br>
<u>Fruit</u> - The life gauge increases by 1/4 heart. <br>
<u>Big Hearts</u> - The life gauge increases by three hearts. <br>
<u>Small Meat</u> - Gain a Power-up. <br>
<u>Big Meat</u> - Gain a Power-up twice as big as the small meat. <br>
<u>1 Up</u> - Gain an extra life. </b></font></p>
<p><font face="Arial" size="3"><b><u><font color="#FF0000">FLOWER POWER<br>
</font></u>The Bani-Bana flowers are located all across Dinosaur Land. They
provide Bonk a variety of different items and bounce effects. <br>
These are:<br>
Jumping Bani-Bana - These give Bonk the opportunity to jump higher than he can
by his own strength. Use these flowers to grab items that are out of his
reach. <br>
Heart Bani-Bana - These give Bonk extra hearts for the Heart Meter. They restore
lost energy points.<br>
Meat Bani-Bana - These give Bonk the small and large pieces of meat to transform
him into a more powerful Bonk! </b></font></p>
