Knock My Teeth Out
The name of the pinball table is actually a little longer, but I do not believe
in profanity (even if it is just implied as it is here), so I shortened the
title. But despite the title, this is one hilarious pinball table. As you can
tell by the name as well as the photo, it is not a real pinball table, but one
created for Visual Pinball. But this does not mean it is not good.
The main object of the game is as the title suggests, you have to knock all the guy's teeth out. In the middle of the table is a guy with a mouth full of teeth. It is your job to hit different targets, which will darken where his teeth were. Hit them all and you have knocked all of his teeth out. The concept is so bizarre that it works. I never thought I would really want to knock out someone's teeth, but this game makes me want to.
A big part of the game is the sound effects. They range from a guy screaming out to the sound of drills to what sounds like a riff from AC/DC. They are very funny and add to the game. There is no background music at all, so things can be a bit quiet if you are not hitting any teeth.
The gameplay and the graphics are both fairly simplistic. The table is bright and colorful but nothing spectacular. They work fine for the game. The gameplay is hitting a series of targets with a few extras. You do need to get all the teeth with one ball or they reset. If you keep knocking them out, you can go for the tonsils and the tongue. There is only one target that can pose a real problem. It is the one in the upper right hand corner. Besides that one, the rest are fairly easy to get.
While the challenge is not great, the basic concept of the game is novel enough to warrant repeat playing. It is a funny table and one that will bring a smile to your face. Just be glad you are not the one getting his teeth knocked out.
